Well we've been home from Devos since April 10th. What did we find out my son is just a picky eater and has "failure to thrive" (insert ha ha told you so). The only thing they sent us home with is a order for Boost Kids Essentials 1.5 cal. We managed to get him on that on April 17th or so because the wic office was closed for a week updating their programs. His last weigh in (Mommy's birthday) last Tuesday he came in at 19 lb 11oz which was a big improvement since he'd left the hospital. We do have to go back down to Devos to an outpatient developmental clinic once a month. Mama's birthday was kind of blah I didn't really do anything didn't have time between getting home, doing Easter for Jason and my birthday to really do anything, or get any gifts but it wasn't important I was just happy to be home with my boy. In between rainstorms Jason was able to go out to his Nana's and have his first horseback riding lesson. Papa Arnie walked Shannon and Daddy walked beside Jason and he loved it! We've been spending considerable amounts of time outside weather permitting. I was also able to have the LDS missionaries come over last Saturday and give Jason a blessing for health and healing. We were also introduced to some fellow branch members that live right next to us practically. Jason really likes Jerry and as soon as he met Darlene he was all into giving her hugs. Jason is taking well to his new diet, but still doesn't like the no juice or soda pop just water between meals/snacks. We are doing great out here in Michigan and starting to set some family goals one of which is to finally get Jason his baby naming blessing next month (they are doing it at our home)! Jason's vocabulary is coming along by leaps and bounds just the other day he looked at me and said "Mama it's you!" Love that little angel of mine more every second. That's all to report this week will write more as news comes.
